Human Resources Generalist

SiteTalent is looking to hire a Human Resources Generalist on behalf of our client that is a construction company based in Langley.

About the Role :

As the Human Resources Generalist, you will be a key role within their team. You will deliver a strong employee experience including onboarding team members and driving team activities. You will play an essential role in the smooth running of HR operations within the company by bringing your experience, strategy and expertise. Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle the administration of the full employee life cycle, including salary changes, resignation, promotions, transfers, onboarding and more
  • Respond to employee inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Handle full-cycle recruitment services including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and employment offers
  • Assist in the day-to-day administration of programs and policies
  • Accurately maintain and update all employee data
  • Support the new hire onboarding process which includes preparation of new hire packages, new hire setup, welcome communications, IT set up, collection of payroll documents and delivery of new hire orientation
  • Support the termination and off boarding processes
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications :

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration with a speciality in Human Resources or related discipline
  • 2+ years' experience in a human resources role or in a related field
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, including tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a sensitive nature
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Salary range : $60,000 - $90,000 (flexible based on experience)
