Summary

The Contract Monitor is responsible for accompanying suppliers into Hydro One secure locations as well as scheduling vendor visits and completing vendor job plans ensuring all health and safety requirements are followed while on site. Contract Monitors are also responsible for performing work in accordance with established processes and practices and for complying with internal and external requirements including but not limited to environmental health and safety fire protection.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Client Support

• Provides escort services within the secured areas of the operation as required.
• Ensures all visiting personnel Sign In / Sign Out in accordance with approved processes & procedures.
• Ensures proper health and safety practices are strictly observed.
• Responsible for scheduling supplier visits.
• Responsible for completing vendor job plans.
• Interacts professionally and maintains working relationships with vendors and the client while representing the BGIS brand.
• Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered.
