Job description

Job Title : Flatbed Driver

Location : Windsor ON

Hourly Rate : $27 / HR

Overtime : After 44 hours

Responsibilities :

Safely operate an AZ flatbed truck to transport automotive parts across the border

Ensure compliance with highway regulations crossborder requirements and contract policies

Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns

Follow delivery schedules and ensure timely and accurate dropoffs of automotive parts

Secure automotive parts using appropriate tiedowns straps and other equipment ensuring safe transportation

Maintain accurate records of routes fuel usage and delivery times

Communicate effectively with dispatch team members and management regarding deliveries delays or issues

Adhere to all safety policies and emergency protocols including those related to crossborder transportation

Requirements :

3 years of AZ driving experience

Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record

Must be able to drive manual transmission (18speed) and automatic transmission

Must be able to work overtime when required

Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards

Ability to read and understand road maps and navigate different routes
