Dice is the leading career destination for tech experts at every stage of their careers. Our client, Cynet Systems, is seeking a Data Analyst for Toronto, ON.

Job Title : Data Analyst

Location : Toronto, ON

Type : Contract

Job Description :

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
1-3 years of experience as a data analyst preferably within financial services or related industry.
End-to-end understanding of a business process to understand business needs.
Partners with other technology partners within the bank to agree on integration requirements eg maintain data mappings flow document.
Able to independently run data extraction queries in SQL and present them in a comprehensible format while providing insights.

General Skills :

Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies preferred.

Experience in stakeholder management.

Experience in Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence.

Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proactive mindset with focus on delivering results.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
