Domcor Health, Safety & Security (DHSS) is seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager. As the Security Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee security operations across various sites in the BC Lower Mainland.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in enhancing security measures, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and security.

Responsibilities :
- Foster a safety-first workplace culture consistent with DHSS's core purpose and values.
- Manage day-to-day security operations across multiple sites in the BC Lower Mainland, ensuring efficient and effective security services.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to meet operational requirements and maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Enhance business growth by maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement security protocols to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure regular site inspections and audits are conducted, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
- Mentor and support security staff, promoting a positive "CAN-DO" attitude and providing performance feedback.
- Provide business insights and reports to senior management, informing decision-making, strategy, and planning.
- Collaborate with Recruiters on operational staffing needs, including communicating shortages, facilitating onboarding, and coordinating training.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years of security management experience, including managing security personnel and site operations in Canada.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Security Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, such as WCB, Employment Standards, WorkSafe, and Security Services Act.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with diverse groups of people.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License is a must.
- Ability to travel to various locations as required.
