Job descriptionRural area Budding trees Cut horticultural crops Greenhouse cleaning Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts Tie and secure plants Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality Weeding Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants Pot and re-pot plants Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings Apply fertilizers Report signs of insect or disease damage Assist in grafting activities Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs Water and tend to plants, lawns and / or gardens Clean work area Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas Coniferous trees Deciduous trees Ferns Native plants Perennials Berry bushes Fruit trees Ornamental trees, shrubs and hedges Own transportation Fast-paced environment Repetitive tasks Handling heavy loads Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Bending, crouching, kneeling Large workload Attention to detail Hand-eye co-ordination Up to 45 kg (100 lbs) Steel-toed safety boots Reliability
