Full-time permanent position, $45,000 / year
Monday to Friday, working locally in the Orillia area (must drive)
Post-secondary related education is an asset
Experience with manufacturing management software would be considered an asset
Good problem-solving, equipment maintenance, and assembling skills
Able to work in high-pressure and time-sensitive conditions
Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components
Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments

Responsibilities

Work with crew to complete electrical projects on time and within high quality standards

Estimate time, materials and equipment required to complete tasks

Plan and organize tasks and materials for work projects and activities

Prepare and submit reports and documentation as requested, report any safety and quality issues to management

Assist in design, development and testing, preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports

Assist in inspecting, testing and adjusting electronic components

Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments

Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications

Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics

Conduct the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems

Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems

Qualifications

1+ years of electrical experience

Post-secondary related education is an asset

Experience with manufacturing management software would be considered an asset

Able to work in high-pressure and time-sensitive conditions

Attention to detail with a well-rounded work ethic and positive attitude

Able to work and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members
