Business Analyst

On behalf of our client in the Retail Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Business Analyst.

Business Analyst - Job Description

  • Manage data files, conduct reconciliations, and perform business analysis using data.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and relevant information to support decision-making using PowerBI, MS Excel, and available applications / tools.
  • Analyze data with a problem-solving mindset, exploring and utilizing various data sources for reporting and analysis purposes to provide data insights.
  • Manage in-scope hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.
  • Basic knowledge of CMDB and asset discovery tools like AirWatch, SCCM etc.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Dashboard and reporting
  • Provide effective governance to ensure adherence to asset management processes and procedures.
  • Proactively monitor assets' End of Life (EOL) and End of Support (EOS) data.
  • Maintain accuracy of IT hardware assets and identify issues.
  • Critically review data requests and quality to determine the best analysis approach.
  • Consult with stakeholders to address their needs and provide clarification on data sources.
  • Focus on continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements and collecting feedback.
  • Participate in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements for system enhancements.

Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills

  • 4-6 years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple project deadlines.
  • Retail background preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide business recommendations based on trends and opportunities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow, SAP, JIRA, and Wireframing.
  • Experience in data analytics, tracking, and reporting tools such as PowerBI, SQL, and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong business acumen related to Retail / Payments / Banking preferred.
  • Agile methodology experience is advantageous.
  • PMP and / or CBAP certification is a plus.
