Commissionaires Hamilton - Security Guard Positions

Commissionaires Hamilton is seeking to augment its active spare / auxiliary guard cadre to meet urgent on-call requests for security services. Selected candidates will receive training on various active sites and new sites as they arise.

The ideal candidate should have experience in completing logbooks, using CCTV, and understanding security patrolling and access control.

The candidate must have a reliable personal vehicle to attend client sites across a large area.

Potential Hours : 20-40 hours per week

Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary :

17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Locations :

Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, Welland, Beamsville

Hours of Work :

Variable based on client contract and short-term call-ups. Contracts typically require overnight / midnight shift availability. Shifts usually run from 0700-1500, 1500-2300, or 2300-0700 for 8-hour shifts.

COVID-19 Precautions :

All employees are provided with personal PPE, including masks, and additional site-specific support such as sanitizers and gloves.
