We’re looking for a talented and imaginative In-House Food/Prop Stylist to bring Made by Gather’s vision to life through bold, high-quality visuals. The ideal candidate has a standout portfolio showcasing expertise in food preparation and styling across commercial, product, and lifestyle photo and video shoots. You’ll work on our Creative Services team, on the Visual Production branch to create eye-catching, crave-worthy content that shines across digital and print platforms.

This is a full-time, in-studio role based in our Montreal office, with on-site presence required five days per week (half-day Fridays). The role is intentionally designed for stylists who want to create daily in a collaborative studio environment, with full access to equipment, products, sets, and creative partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Creative Production Managers and Photographers to align on recipes, props and sets for photo and video.
• Prep and style props and sets for daily production on site.
• Assist photographers with set up and tear down for shoots.
• Ensure consistency in visual style across different platforms, including websites, social media, and print materials.
• Stay up-to-date with styling trends and continuously improve skills to maintain cutting-edge visual content.
• Maintain a comprehensive recipe and prop archive.
• Develop creative ideas and concepts that align with each brand’s guidelines and project goals.
• Own and develop set designs and prop catalogue.
• Flex from a studio mindset to a UGC content creation to support monthly Marketing support briefs.
• Develop and maintain styling guidelines to support various brands. Including but not limited to bella kitchenware and Beautiful by Drew Barrymore.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrated food styling experience for photography or video (portfolio required)
• Minimum of 3 years of professional styling experience, preferably in a consumer product environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Design or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Work on-site at Made by Gather’s studio located in Downtown, Montreal.
• Solid understanding of set styling and composition.
• Ability to produce unique and engaging visuals that follow brand guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with eCommerce or product-focused photography.
• Knowledge of social media content creation, trends, and optimization.
