Job description

Our cleint in the design, animation and digital innovation space is on the lookout for their next Intermediate Accountant. Our client is located Downtown Toronto, and is 5 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities

Understand the full accounting cycle and take ownership over processes such as AP, AR, bank,

prepaids, intercompany reconciling, project reporting, payroll, banking maintenance, and payment runs.

Conduting reconiliations

Responsible for managing month-end closing activites

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports to senior management,

Monitor foreign exchange rates and multi-currency receivables and payables.

Update monthly and annual budgets, prepare utilization reports, and follow up with key stakeholders to

communicate results.

Prepare and file GST / HST returns (quarterly and annually).

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in an Accoutning position

Currently working towards a CPA Designtation

Well-versed in managing the Full Cycle Accoutning processes

Must have overseeing Payroll activities using a Payroll System.

Diploma or degree in Accounting

Proficient in working with Multiple currencies
