Inventory Control Supervisor

Status : Regular Full-time

Shift : Monday - Friday (7 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM)

In your role as the Inventory Control Supervisor at The North West Company (NWC) you manage a team of staff responsible for a wide range of Inventory and Quality Control operations at the Winnipeg Logistics Service Centre (WLSC). As supervisor you will also be involved in the coaching and hiring of new team members.

Your Role :

• Monitor daily reports ,cycle count tracking and accountable for adjustments as required;
• Responsible for planning, scheduling and tracking attendance for payroll purposes;
• Oversee and manage the inventory control team;
• Accountable for Label Negotiations, Ordering and Invoicing;
• Responsible for Seasonal and Sealift / Winter Road, Last in First Out (LIFO) and Seasonal Reports.
• Create and review SOP’s for new and existing processes within the department;
• Assist with annual inventory reporting;
• Liaising between Congebec and NWC;
• Responsible for Petty Cash, ATM and Banking reconciliation for the WLSC;
• Maintain positive relationships with new and existing suppliers with the ability to negotiate; and
• Liaise with Store Connect and assist when inventory related issues arise.
• Support the Manager, Inventory Control with the flow of day to day tasks.
