Job Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution OR 5+ years of direct field experience
- 1+ year / s of experience completing condition inspections / construction inspections on bridges and transportation structures OR 2+ years of experience as a field / site engineer. Strong communication and organization skills, including report writing
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word (required)
- Familiarity working with database software is an asset.
- Familiarity with bridge inspection and management systems which may include British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructures BMIS, Alberta Infrastructures BIMS, and Ministry of Transportation Ontario OSIM is an asset.
- Fast learner with a desire to grow professionally and personally.
- Committed team player with ability to work independently with minimum direction when required.
- Shows close attention to detail and take pride in your work, both for large and small sized projects.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Valid BC Driver’s License
