Senior Program Manager to manage multiple projects across varying tech stacks in the utilities industry (HYBRID EDMONTON)
Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (8+ years) to manage multiple projects across varying tech stacks in the utilities industry (HYBRID EDMONTON).
Must Have
- 1+ years as a Program Manager OR 8+ years as a Project Manager managing variousprojects across various business units, tech stacks and lifecycles
- Experience leading multiple application development projects
- Utilities Industry
- Technical background (preference for background in systems analysis or software development)
- Hybrid in Edmonton, AB or availability to be onsite as required if working remote.
Nice to Have
Diploma or Degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
Responsibilities :
- Manage various Project Managers on application development, COTS, and web projects across various tech stacks, business units and project lifecycles.
- Ability to look at documentation through a technical lens with a strong technical background
- Demonstrated knowledge of PMO tools and program / project governance concepts and governance structure.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and manage relationships with customers, account leadership, strategic partners, and solution providers.
- Demonstrated ability to bring creative solutions to solve complex problems with a cross stakeholder perspective. Leverages organizational expertise and uses a high degree of resourcefulness and independent judgement to determine the best solution.
- Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills in a multifaceted environment, proven coach and mentor.
