Job descriptionLead the electrical engineering team, providing day-to-day supervision and technical mentorship Drive, review, and approve electrical system designs; evaluate team performance and provide feedback Assign tasks and manage labor resources across projects to balance workload Communicate staffing and project status updates to management Train and mentor engineers; hire and onboard new staff as needed Support or delegate contributions to quoting efforts for new projects Uphold high standards for the quality of integrated test systems Continuously improve development processes, tools, and quality standards Ensure compliance with Canadian workplace and safety standards Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role Proven expertise in electrical design, integration, and troubleshooting of automated systems Strong team management, mentoring, and staff development skills Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Familiarity with Canadian electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance Innovative, process-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement
Adecco is actively seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the Electrical Integration Department for automated test systems. This role requires a strong technical leader who can manage a high-performing team, collaborate across departments, and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical systems. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, provide mentorship, and drive continuous improvement in system design and development processes.
