Mold Maker Leader will be the go-to technical expertise for plastic injection molds. The position will focus on building plastic injection molds and repair. The successful candidate must have good leadership skills and thorough knowledge of building an injection mold. This is a key role that requires a hands-on, results driven individual who is able to perform in a fast paced environment.

Mold Maker Leader Job Description :

• Lead the construction of complex new molds and repairs
• Time management and communication skills (written and verbal)
• 8-10 years of tool building experience for the plastic injection molding industry
• Ability to take ownership for their work, understands roles, responsibility and process
• Work closely with all internal departments to schedule work smoothly to meet due dates
• Manage a group of people, delegate tasks and projects, TEACH and develop apprentices
• Hands on capabilities with all related equipment; mills, lathes, grinders, and measuring tools
• Exceptional at fitting slides, lifters, retractor and spotting components and parting lines
• Experience in hot runner systems, hydraulics, welding
• Knowledge of Cimatron is an Asset
• Strong work ethic and highly motivated
