Physician Assistant (PA)
Role Overview :
The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with our physicians to assess, diagnose, and manage patients across a diverse population. You will play a key role in improving access to care and supporting positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and examine patients.
- Obtain and review medical histories.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications (as permitted by regulation).
- Perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Educate patients on preventive care and treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Support physicians in managing complex or urgent cases.
- Respond to medical emergencies when required.
Qualifications :
Certified Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in Canada.Strong knowledge of Canadian clinical guidelines and standards of care.Experience using EMR systems (Telus PS Suite preferred).Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Compassionate, patient-centered approach.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
Role Overview :
The Medical Office Assistant will be the first point of contact for patients and will ensure smooth daily clinic operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities :
Greet and register patients.Schedule and confirm appointments.Manage phone calls and patient inquiries.Maintain and update electronic medical records.Process referrals and lab requisitions.Assist with billing and administrative tasks.Support physicians and clinical staff as needed.Qualifications :
Medical Office Administration certificate or equivalent experience.Experience working in a medical clinic setting in Canada.Proficiency with EMR systems (Telus PS Suite preferred).Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Professional, courteous, and patient-focused attitude.Why Join Us?
