About the Opportunity
Our client, a boutique Intellectual Property firm, has a need for a registered Patent Agent with a background in biotechnology or chemistry with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
Duties include but are not limited to :
- Drafting and prosecution of patents in the Biotechnology / Chemistry field
- Working with both Domestic and International clients
- Partake in business development initiatives
About You
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in the field of Chemistry or Biotechnology
- Be a registered Canadian Patent Agent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Patent Agent
- Previous experience in a law firm, IP boutique or in-house setting
- Excellent drafting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
