EDEDEN VALLEY POULTRY OPPORTUNITY : MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Eden Valley Poultry Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their dedicated team of professionals.

As a Maintenance Technician you will :
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust.
- Follow and complete a daily maintenance and repair schedule.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Keep accurate records, as required.
- Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of equipment.
- Maintain working knowledge of environmental safeguards and alarm systems.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment. Position Requirements :
- Valid trade certificate (e.g., Electrical, Millwright, Machinist, or Industrial Mechanic) or enrolled in an applicable program.
- Previous maintenance experience in a food processing environment, an asset.
- High level of critical and logical thinking.
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to interact and work professionally as a part of a team as well as work independently.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential.
- Effective communication skills.
