We are hiring a Lounge Bartender-
RESPONSIBILITIES : Report to work on time and in full uniform. Cell phone is to be tucked away and non-visible to guests or management. Uniform is pressed and clean. Have necessary equipment to work with including pen, side towel, corkscrew, etc. Do all necessary side work assigned.
Follows all 5 Star grooming standards - facial hair neatly trimmed and groomed or clean shaven daily. Long hair must be tied back into a styled bun or ponytail with an elastic that matches the color of your hair- your hair must be immaculately styled. Make up is worn in a neutral palette. Deodorant is worn. We are a scent free restaurant, so perfumes and colognes are not permitted so as not to in our guests’ dining experience.
Follows our 5 Star Service Standards, as outlined in the Service Standards Manual, on greeting etiquette, table service, technical proficiency and knowledge of food and beverage service, steps of service and departure of guests.
The Bartender is responsible for greeting their own table in their own section, unless otherwise directed by a manager. The Bartender is also responsible for running their guests’ appetizers, mains and desserts, while also properly romancing and describing each plate to each guest. The server is also responsible for running their own drinks to their own tables, unless otherwise directed by a manager.
Prepare drink orders from guests / servers in proper calling order.
Make cocktails in accordance with the 5 Star Standards- solid cubes of ice, thoughtful and elegant garnishes, fresh juices and all in appropriate glassware.
Work professionally with all guests and fellow associates.
Follow all check handling procedures, including all credit card policies and procedures.
Taking drink orders from servers, checking all tickets for items that did not ring up correctly.
Prepare beverage requisition for liquor.
Create a pleasant, friendly, hospitable, effective and professional working atmosphere at all times- this involves being genuine in all interactions with teammates and guests alike.
Makes eye contact and uses guests’ name whenever possible, throughout the dining experience as well as when guests enter or leave the restaurant.
Comply with established procedures in the standard beverage manual regarding the serving of alcohol and the identification of minors.
Check and replace glassware where needed.
