Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Data Analyst to support the monitoring and continued growth of loan and investment portfolios. The analyst will work extensively with and support the finance and accounting team as well as senior management. QualificationsUniversity Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or a related discipline.Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.Strong quantitative, statistical and financial modeling capabilities.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyUnderstanding of financial theory and financial statements, including accounting concepts.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.Experience with modeling is an asset Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and analyze large structured and / or unstructured datasets to extract predictive signals.Present research and portfolio analysis results to key internal stakeholders.Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases / data systems.Assist in various analysis required to support regular financial reporting obligations (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual) and support processes to do so.Perform performance measurement analysis, including detailed return, attribution, risk, valuation and income analysis of investment portfolios.Support ongoing data management initiatives to drive process improvements across the firm.Provide solutions and ideas to business partners to solve complex modeling and other analytic problems. #AB1
