We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) (m / f / d) to lead our product marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, thought leadership, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, commercialization, and ultimately revenue and adoption growth within the supply chain management sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, with a deep understanding of technology marketing and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

What your Organization will do :

Strategic Marketing Leadership :

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Ownership to ensure a seamless interlock between product strategy, execution plans and external marketing communication.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Set marketing KPIs and track performance to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Event Strategy Development :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage a diverse range of events, from large-scale conferences to intimate workshops.
  • Implement effective post-event follow-up strategies to nurture leads and build long-term relationships.
  • Brand Management :

  • Build and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning for Supply Chain Management.
  • Oversee brand messaging, storytelling, and visual identity.
  • Demand and Pipeline Generation :

  • Develop and implement effective demand generation strategies, including content marketing, e-mail marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth.
  • Content Marketing :

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to launch new products and features.
  • Create high-quality product marketing materials, such as datasheets and presentations.
  • Customer Marketing :

  • Build strong relationships with strategic customers and foster customer loyalty.
  • Organizational Leadership :

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing organization.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top marketing talent.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.
  • What you bring :

  • Extensive experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the supply chain or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Typically requires 15+ years of experience in technology marketing, with a significant portion in supply chain or related industries.

    SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture. The targeted combined range for this position is 370,400 - 629,700 CAD.

    Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in Quebec.
