Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS companies. We use Customer Generation (a marketing methodology developed by us) which focuses on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO, Design / CRO, Video, and Marketing Ops services to our SaaS / tech clients.
We have experienced significant growth over the last few years and have remained true to our culture of, the best idea wins. We're future-focused and are looking for the right VP of Brand Marketing to give us a new angle, edge, and perspective on how to grow.
About The Role
We have a mature performance marketing team dedicated to Directive's marketing, but this is our first year focusing on brand. We are creating exceptional content, doing events, and want to build a legacy in SaaS. While this initiative is only 9 months in, we feel confident in the direction of our strategy and need your expertise to accelerate its impact.
Unfortunately, we have done this without a full time person dedicated to the role and we see opportunities to maximize our investment into brand marketing.
We have successfully monetized multiple events this year, are going live with new content campaigns and brand videos, and believe that with the proper hire we could drastically improve the volume of proposals from upper market SaaS companies who feel pulled into our brand.
From private dinners to unique content (like competitions, customer events, industry awards, PR, etc.) we believe that focusing on brand marketing (while maintaining our spend on direct response) will unlock incremental growth.
In this role, you would own the entire marketing department and be responsible for exceeding both proposals held + bookings targets of $17m in 2024.
To be a strong candidate, you need to be an exceptionally driven, hard-working, truly creative brand leader.
We value your ability to influence the pipeline and believe that the ideal candidate revels in reporting on the direct impact of their efforts.
You will only be successful in this role if you are equally strong administratively as you are creatively.
