• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Recent experience as a Unit Clerk or other clerical experience.
• Payroll data entry, staffing & scheduling experience preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic mathematical/numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
• Polite & efficient telephone manner.
• Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize.
• Ability to perform registration duties, including admitting patients and managing appointments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with distressed children, adolescents and families.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Able to work well under pressure & co‑operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
• Computer experience required.
• Good attendance record.
