Comptable (Contrat Temporaire)

Overview

Comptable (Contrat Temporaire) role at Integrated Power Services (IPS). Position duration: 5 months with a potential extension. Role supports the financial team during a maternity leave.

Responsibilities

• Support the billing process and ensure proper follow-up on accounts receivable.
• Manage accounts payable including invoice entry, approvals, and payments.
• Assist with month-end reporting (bank reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis).
• Monitor ongoing projects, including progressive billing and related costs.
• Collaborate with the team to prepare financial documents for management review.
• Provide general support to the accounting team with day-to-day tasks.
• Perform any other related duties to support financial operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant education in Accounting (DEC, AEC, or Bachelor’s degree is an asset).
• Previous experience in accounting (payables, receivables, reconciliations).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
• Familiarity with an accounting software or ERP system (asset).
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
