Jr Business Analyst

We are looking for an entry-level Business Analyst to join our team in Markham, Ontario. This role is vital in supporting our childcare centres by ensuring smooth operations and compliance with regulations. As part of the education team, you will handle a variety of administrative and operational responsibilities to enhance efficiency and maintain high standards.Responsibilities : - Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks, including contract renewals, maintenance scheduling, and operational follow-ups across all childcare locations.- Ensure compliance with childcare regulations by preparing required documents and reports for audits, licensing renewals, and compliance reviews.- Manage fee collection processes, track outstanding accounts, and ensure adherence to policies regarding fee charging and collection.- Maintain accurate records of staff certifications and training, ensuring all qualifications are up to date.- Collaborate with service providers to schedule and monitor maintenance, cleaning, and deliveries, addressing performance issues when necessary.- Support the education team in gathering data and insights to improve operational procedures and recommend enhancements.- Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide management with actionable insights and data analysis.- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends and patterns, presenting findings to stakeholders.- Facilitate effective communication within the organization and with external partners to ensure smooth operations and follow-through.- Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support organizational goals.- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Administrative Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably within childcare or educational organizations.- Proficiency in Excel, including data entry, formatting, sorting, and utilizing basic formulas.- Familiarity with tracking and managing compliance requirements for childcare regulations.- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for internal and external collaboration.- Experience with creating and analyzing reports and dashboards to support decision-making.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
