Our client, a national retail company, is seeking a highly skilled Director of FP&A to join their dynamic team in Montreal. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company that values innovation, efficiency, and excellence.

Your new role

Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, the Director of FP&A will be responsible for managing a team of five FP&A analysts. This role is crucial in driving efficiency across three key business units : Sales and Marketing, Storage, and Assembly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with at least seven years of experience, including two years in a senior role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of five FP&A analysts.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to drive efficiency and performance improvements.
  • Develop and implement financial models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum of seven years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • At least two years in a senior manager FP&A role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
