You as Power Engineer will :
- Operate, monitor, and perform maintenance on all chillers, cooling towers, steam boilers, hot water boilers and their auxiliary and ancillary equipment, promptly responds to their alarms, troubleshoots, and fixes or isolates
- Work independently and have sound judgement during stressful times
- Clean and maintain cooling tower, chiller tubes and fire chamber of hot water and steam boilers
- Perform maintenance on air compressors, air dryer, actuators, regulator, valves and airlines as required
- First responder to fire alarm and other emergency codes, fire alarm panel and other related equipment upon the request of the Fire Marshall
- Respond to elevator troubles, initiate elevator service for breakdowns and entrapments and inform Supervisor any emergency service
- Respond to general maintenance and trouble calls as requested and troubleshoot, repair, or control the problem, consult Supervisor for after hour service calls
- Inspect plant equipment and facility mechanical rooms daily and fill out the necessary log sheets
- Test, calibrate, measure, and adjust control devices and space environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity and air flow throughout the facility including patient isolation rooms
- Close PM and routine work orders on the PDA after completing work assignments
- Maintain Log books and write reports as required and requested
- Perform other duties consistent with the job classification, as required and as assigned by the Supervisor
