Simnet, a hosted private cloud company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Analyst to join our team. As a Network Analyst Level II, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the network infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor network performance and availability, ensuring uptime and performance levels meet or exceed SLAs
  • Troubleshoot network issues and provide resolutions to network-related problems
  • Configure and maintain network devices, switches, and firewalls
  • Maintain network firewall security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide support for network-related issues
  • Document network configurations and changes to ensure accuracy and maintain an up-to-date inventory of network devices
  • Participate in the design and implementation of network solutions, including network design, VLAN management, routing and switching, wireless networking, load balancing, and VPN configurations
  • Continuously evaluate and improve network performance, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Configure network virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware NSX, Cisco ACI) that create logical networks on top of physical infrastructure.
  • Other tasks as needed
