Mission

I am looking for an accounting technician for my client located near a subway station and with parking. This is a permanent 40-hour contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monthly bank reconciliations for various legal entities
• Periodic GST / STP returns for various legal entities
• Preparation and coordination of all government / regulatory filings
• Preparation of checks, wire transfers, and payments (AP cycle)
• Daily verification / reconciliation and maintenance of investment portfolio transactions on the software platform
• Assistance with monthly reconciliation of all brokerage accounts in the investment portfolio
• Assistance with monthly adjustments and journal entries for general ledger and book closing.
• Maintenance of a systematic and organized filing system for documents and records for all legal entities.
