Position : Heavy Duty Truck Driver
Location : Port Coquitlam, BC
Compensation : $27.00 - $34.00 / hour, based on experience
This job position will be night shifts and long-haul shifts.

Responsibilities
Operate 3-ton, 5-ton, 10-ton, and tractor-trailer trucks to transport goodsConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehiclesEnsure timely and secure delivery of cargoMaintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle service, and repair statusComply with all traffic laws and safety regulationsCommunicate effectively with shippers, managers, and customersSecure cargo properly to prevent damageReport incidents or accidents to the HD Truck ManagerKeep vehicles clean, organized, and in good working conditionEnsure delivery stores are properly locked and armed after drop-offUse the Checkmate App to report at designated timesFollow health and safety protocols in warehouses and storesPerform other duties as assigned by managementGoals and Expectations
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interiorKeep GPS active throughout the shiftCarry and complete TDG forms when transporting Dangerous GoodsUse appropriate tires and chains based on route conditionsQualifications
Education and Experience
Valid Class 1 Manual Driver’s License with a clean driving abstractForklift driving experience requiredExperience with manual transmissionTDG Certification
Experience driving in adverse weather conditionsFamiliarity with BC and Alberta highways and trucking regulationsSkills and Abilities
