Technology Analyst

Job description Infosys is seeking a Java Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications : Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in Canada without employer based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred Qualification : At least 2 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot Microservices, JPA / Hybernate, At least 2 years of experience in Agile. Knowledge of ceremonies.Relational database experience in PostGreSQL.Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based DBs – MongoDB etc.Good knowledge about continuous integration tools e.g. GIT, Jenkins, ADO etcAdditionally, knowledge of following technologies would be an advantage : Python, SonarQube, Kafka, Jira, Confluence, Kubernetes (or similar technology), Apigee, CloudSQL, Bigquery, GCP pubsub service, Understanding of GCP Cloud services.The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
