Job description

We are seeking a Casual Protection Services Clerk at Reids Corner in Kelowna, BC.

Days of work : Monday to Friday, Days

Shift times : 08 : 00 to 16 : 00

What will you work on?

  • Provides clerical support to Protection, Services by performing duties such as liaising with various positions across IH regarding photo identification, taking photos, producing photo identification and access cards in accordance with established procedures, maintaining detailed records of all transactions, and ordering related supplies.
  • Provides service to customers by performing duties such as receiving and processing requests for information, addressing and documenting routine customer complaints, identifying issues for management staff, and communicating urgent requests to appropriate management staff utilizing telephone and e-mail.
  • Provides reception support by performing duties such as answering telephones, taking messages, drafting and sending e-mail and other written communications, responding to inquiries, greeting and directing visitors to appropriate individuals and scheduling appointments.
  • Sets up and maintains departmental filing systems for a variety of records such as correspondence and security records by performing duties such as creating and labeling files, developing forms, indexing materials, entering data into spreadsheets and databases and filing.
  • Maintains and compiles statistics such as, card access and photo ID production, access control changes, security activity, and complaint resolution by performing duties such as receiving / gathering information, entering data, and producing documents for review using databases, spreadsheets and word processing software.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
