Join a thriving organization and work alongside an external accountant to manage all aspects of the financial process while enjoying the benefits of autonomy in your role.As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the full cycle of accounting, from day-to-day operations to the preparation of financial reports, while ensuring compliance and supporting management in making informed decisions. With a strong focus on financial autonomy, you will have the chance to manage key processes, enabling you to directly impact the company's success and financial health.Key Responsibilities : Accounting : - Manage general accounting duties, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.- Execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, including schedules and reconciliations.- Prepare depreciation schedules and maintain accurate records.- Reconcile daily bank statements.- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the yearly budget.Accounts Payable : - Manage the supplier file, onboarding new vendors and maintaining existing records.- Code and enter supplier invoices into the accounting system.- Process payments via cheque and wire transfers.- Prepare and submit GST / QST payments.- Review and calculate sales commissions for appropriate distribution.Accounts Receivable : - Create and maintain customer files, ensuring all details are up to date.- Generate customer orders and corresponding invoices.- Record sales transactions and produce sales journals.- Follow up on outstanding invoices and manage collections efforts.- Enter received payments into the accounts receivable system.- Generate receivable reports and monitor cash flow.- Conduct credit checks on new and existing customers.Financial Reporting : - Prepare various financial reports, including status reports and forecast comparison reports.- Generate weekly summary reports, month-end inventory movement reports, and gross margin reports.- Assist with cash management and forecasting.Payroll & HR Administration : - Process bi-weekly payroll in collaboration with an outsourced payroll provider.- Provide support for general HR administration as needed.- Prepare and issue T4 statements at year-end.What We're Looking For : - At least 3 years of professional accounting experience.- Advanced MS Office and Excel skills.- Well-situated for daily in-office work.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Why Join Us?- Autonomy : Take full ownership of your role and work independently with the support of an external accountant.- Impact : Make a direct impact on financial processes and decision-making in a growing company.- Stability : Work for a well-established PME that values your contributions and offers great benefits.If you're a dedicated and experienced Bookkeeper looking to take on a new challenge and enjoy a rewarding career, we want to hear from you!Ready to advance your career?
