Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Tool Room Manager to lead toolroom operations in a high-volume automotive hot-stamping environment. This role is responsible for managing tooling resources to support production, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee daily toolroom operations supporting stamping and weldingPlan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance for dies and toolingEnsure tooling availability, performance, and readiness to meet production demandsDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, cost, and efficiencyManage tooling budgets, maintenance planning, and spare parts inventoryCollaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to support plant objectivesEnsure compliance with health & safety, quality, and operating standardsCoach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting succession planningRequired Qualifications
Certificate of Qualification – Tool & Die Maker (430A) (mandatory)Minimum 5–10 years of toolroom leadership experience in a stamping environmentHot stamping experience required (automotive manufacturing strongly preferred)Strong knowledge of dies, tooling maintenance, and stamping processesProven leadership experience managing unionized or skilled trades teamsStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications
