We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant in Ontario, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and a strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for budget deviations
  • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives
  • Stay current with accounting standards and regulatory changes

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or mid-sized company setting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 70,000 - $80,000 / year
