PRE – 24-25-064 – Educational Assistant 2 (EA2)

St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Part Time, Temporary, Educational Assistant 2 for work assignment at Preschool.

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

Hours of Work : 22.00 hrs. / week; 5.5 hrs. / day; Tuesday-Friday; Part Time, Temporary

Hourly Rate : $22.92 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

Specific Needs / Requirements for this position :

• Formal training from MacEwan University or equivalent preferred
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is an asset
• Experience working with children with diverse behavior needs an asset
• Experience in the use of visual supports and / or PECS an asset
• Experience working with children at the early childhood level an asset
• Experience working within a team, collaborative environment an asset
