Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management.
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
- Administer personal care services in accordance with care plan directives.
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs.
- Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided, demonstrating current competency.
- Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards; promptly report any unusual events or changes to the Supervisor or Office.
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Completion of a formal, accredited caregiver training program or equivalent education and experience.Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.Fluent in spoken and written English; French proficiency considered an asset.Provide high‑quality care services to clients with current knowledge of community care practices.Physically assist clients with movement and / or repositioning; able to lift 23 kg, squat, bend, stand, and reach.Reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s licence; an automobile is considered an asset.Ability to produce a clear Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.We require new hires to provide proof of vaccination against illnesses such as COVID‑19, Hepatitis, and seasonal flu, if mandated by provincial regulations. Medical exemptions or exemptions based on Human Rights Code criteria will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
