Role ProfileWith dual reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and the Human Resources Business Partner, the People & Culture Assistant will support a variety of projects within the People & Culture department. Responsibilities : Recruitment - resume screening, reference checking, interview supportSpecial projects – support various P&C initiatives such as onboarding and recognitionGeneral research, including scanning for legislative changes and best practices on a variety of topicsSupport areas such as health, safety & wellness, labour relations, diversity, equity & inclusionOther duties as assigned Qualifications : Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or college degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or related program Exceptional communication skillsStrong organizational, planning and time management skillsAttention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyAbility to work in a team or independentlyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite Salary : $18.00 per hour Please note the following : This position is subject to the approval and funding of our application to the Canada Summer Job program.
