Job description

Our Client in the financial sector is looking for their next Senior Credit Analyst to join their team.

This particular client is located in Burlington in a hybrid model - 3 days a week onsite

Responsibilities

Evaluate commercial financing requests by reviewing applicants' credit

histories

Analyzing financial statements in order to approve or deny lease and loan applications.

Prepare financial transactions for documentation and funding on complex transactions.

Review credit history, profitability, and liquidity of clients to assess risk level

Create and prepare Long-Form reports

Provides guidance and training when necessary to other employees on the Credit Team.

Qualifications

Must be able to write Long-form

5 years of credit Analysis experience

Proficient in handling complex risk management cases

Well-versed in analyzing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and financial forecasts (Strong Financial Analysis experience)\

Vast expertise in Excel

Excellent communication skills / leadership qualities

Nice to Have :

Bilingual in French and English

Previous underwriting experience

Experience in a team-lead role
