Warehouse Operator Unionized

The Warehouse (Warehouse Operator) classification as outlined in the Union Agreement includes the following responsibilities and expectations :

Responsibilities :

Shipping and Receiving :

Handles all merchandise entering and leaving the facility.

Ensures accuracy and proper handling during shipping and receiving processes.

Inventory Management :

Places finished products and raw materials in designated inventory locations.

Maintains accurate daily inventory records.

Loading and Unloading :

Manages the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.

Ensures safe and efficient transfer of materials to and from trucks.

Collaboration :

Assists and supports other employees in their tasks when .

Production Support :

May be assigned to production work occasionally or when needed.

Additional Duties :

Carries out any other tasks as directed by their immediate supervisor including tasks from lower classifications if necessary.

General Notes :

Material Handlers play a key role in maintaining the flow of materials and products ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
