As Financial Services Associate, you will be joining a team of highly engaged financial service professionals who are dedicated to providing an exceptional Member Experience! The primary responsibilities for this position will be to understand the financial needs of our Members and provide the appropriate advice and recommendations to fit their needs.

What you’ll do:

• Understand how Meridian’s products and services can add value to our Members
• Provide investment advice by identifying and promoting solutions that meet our Member needs
• Provide recommendations on credit products based on accurate and appropriate credit interviewing and underwriting skills
• Engage in revenue generation and sales based activities in order to achieve performance objectives
• Use provided tools to proactively identify and promote opportunities with all Members to deepen relationships and provide flawless service experiences

What you can bring to Meridian:

• Recent University graduates with 4 year degree in Business or Economics
• Strong business and financial industry knowledge, with a desire for career growth within the financial services industry
• At minimum, MFDA licensing is required for most roles
• Flexible to work all scheduled hours which include some evenings and Saturdays
• Proven understanding of computer systems and programs including Microsoft Office, and Outlook

Salary Range: CAD $52,000 – $78,000 annually

Compensation for this role is based on a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Candidates with stronger alignment to the role’s requirements may be placed higher within the range.
