Journeyman Instrumentation Technician

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Journeyman to work with our Bonnyville branch. The role covers both maintenance and construction projects within the Bonnyville area and offers a 10/4 shift.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance and construction projects throughout Western Canada. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on full‑time, long‑term maintenance projects with well‑established and reputable clients.

Requirements

• Journeyman Instrumentation certificate or Instrumentation Technician,
• or experienced 4th‑year instrumentation apprenticeship,
• must have previous troubleshooting and instrumentation maintenance experience in industrial oil & gas facilities,
• at least 3 years of instrumentation experience on industrial construction and maintenance projects (asset),
• valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection; Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED; CSTS 2020 Fundamentals certificates, CSO training,
• valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation,
• excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
