In this role, you will conduct comprehensive assessments to ensure that our tools, processes, and systems meet the highest standards for our team, members, and employers. You will be responsible for performing ongoing quality assessments, defect analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and supporting system and product rollouts to ensure seamless administrative readiness.We are looking for someone with : A College Diploma or University Degree, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Multi-Employer Pension Plans (MEPP), public sector pension administration, or with an outsourcing service provider.A strong understanding of pension administration processes, systems, pension plan texts, and applicable legislation.Hands-on experience in testing and documenting system changes, new functionality, and system updates within a pension administration environment.Experience in implementing new pension systems, including familiarity with testing methodologies, defect analysis, quality reviews, and maintaining data integrity.Experience in auditing and conducting quality reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls and data accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using SQL or Power BI considered an asset.Certifications such as the Pension Plan Administration Certificate (PPAC), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), and certifications in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma, or Agile are valuable assets.The successful candidate will demonstrate : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a solid mathematical aptitude to identify and address complex issues.Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations, ensuring the best outcomes for both the team and the organization.Collaborative mindset, with a proven ability to work effectively in teams, build relationships, and contribute to a positive, supportive work environment.Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Once here you will : Conduct quality reviews of high-risk cases, such as pension life events and lump sum payments, and perform transaction, batch process, and post-payment audits to identify system gaps, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.Provide training and ongoing support to the pension administration teams on system updates, process changes, and new functionalities. Lead ad hoc training sessions and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.Facilitate change management efforts within the pension administration teams by facilitating process improvements, documenting changes, and ensuring smooth adoption of new systems, tools, and practices.Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing detailed test matrices, identifying key test scenarios, executing test cases, and analyzing results. Collaborate with IT to address defects and ensure system readiness for production use.Identify, document, and analyze defects in system processes and functionalities, working with IT and other stakeholders to prioritize and resolve issues.
