The Board is seeking qualified and experienced educators to join the Principal and Vice Vice-Principal pool. Candidates who have demonstrated strong leadership in previous positions and who meet the qualification requirements below are invited to apply.
Interviews for elementary and secondary Principal and Vice-Principal pool positions will be held throughout the year, please follow the instructions below to apply.
- Qualifications - PrincipalCandidates making an application for a position of Principal will have : Ontario School Principal’s Certificate Parts 1 and 2 (which requires a Master’s Degree or double specialist) completed at time of application;
- recommendation from his / her immediate supervisor; demonstration of successful educational leadership experience; superior administrative and organizational skills;
- and, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Qualifications - Vice PrincipalCandidates making an application for a position of Vice-Principal will have : leadership experience at the school or board level;
- at the time of interviews, registered for or completed Principal Qualification Program Part 1 certification; recommendation from his / her immediate supervisor;
