The Avon Maitland District School Board is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of Principal and Vice Principal in our elementary and secondary schools.​The Board is seeking qualified and experienced educators to join the Principal and Vice Vice-Principal pool. Candidates who have demonstrated strong leadership in previous positions and who meet the qualification requirements below are invited to apply.​Interviews for elementary and secondary Principal and Vice-Principal pool positions will be held throughout the year, please follow the instructions below to apply. ​Qualifications - PrincipalCandidates making an application for a position of Principal will have:Ontario School Principal's Certificate Parts 1 and 2 (which requires a Master's Degree or double specialist) completed at time of application;Recommendation from his/her immediate supervisor;Demonstration of successful educational leadership experience;Superior administrative and organizational skills; and,Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
