Purpose of the position

We are currently looking for a creative and passionate Cook, wishing to offer an exceptional culinary experience to residents.

Permanent part-time position, for approximately 20 hours per week, from 9 to 6 : 30 and every other weekend. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas
Assemble plates of food
Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
Supervise the preparation of cold meals and desserts
Peel and cut vegetables for meals
Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
Perform other related duties

Required qualifications :

Good team player
Training certification (MAPAQ)
Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
Experience in a large restoration's volume (an asset)
