We are currently looking for a Team Leader – Drilling to join our production team.
Reporting to the department supervisor, you will act as a resource person for your team by managing workload distribution, supporting day-to-day problem-solving, and handling more complex cases. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Organize work cells to ensure continuous production flow;
• Meet daily production targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions;
• Ensure compliance with and adherence to 5S activities;
• Motivate your team by providing daily feedback, both constructive and disciplinary;
• Respond to issues reported by the team, propose short- and long-term solutions, and inform your supervisor;
• Report any production interruptions (voluntary or involuntary) to the supervisor;
• Ensure tools are available and functioning properly, and communicate tooling needs to the supervisor;
• Act as a change agent for health and safety, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations;
• Conduct ergonomic observations and provide constructive feedback to employees;
• Identify, propose, and implement innovative practices to reduce downtime and improve processes;
• Ensure team members’ rigor, attendance, and performance in collaboration with the supervisor;
• Effectively communicate daily information to your team;Support the onboarding and integration of new employees.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of management experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment (an asset);
• Knowledge of continuous flow production principles and continuous improvement tools;
• Ability to manage change and propose innovative solutions;
• Availability to work on different shifts as required by production needs.
