Role Summary

Provide on-site lineside production support to ensure stable manufacturing operations, rapid issue resolution, and effective implementation of design and process changes.

Role Details

Lineside Production Support Engineer

Location – Calgary, AB Canada

Positon type : Full time.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day production activities through direct lineside engagement
Troubleshoot manufacturing system issues, process deviations, and design-related problems impacting production
Assess, coordinate, and support implementation of engineering and design changes on the shop floor
Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production constraints
Support problem-solving activities (root cause analysis, containment, corrective actions)
Provide technical guidance to production teams to minimize downtime and disruption
Support MRB-related activities as needed, while operating with a broader production-support scope

Scope & Authority

Broad production support role extending beyond traditional MRB responsibilities

Authority to recommend corrective actions and coordinate cross-functional resolution

Onshore presence required due to real-time production and system interaction

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of the production / manufacturing environment

Experience troubleshooting manufacturing systems and production processes

Ability to interpret and support engineering and design changes

MRB experience beneficial but not mandatory

Strong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
