We are currently seeking enthusiastic qualified Assistants in Nursing to join our team at Geraldton.
This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent, Fixed Term or Casual appointment up to 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. We currently have positions available at Geraldton Hospital.

About the OPPORTUNITY
The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) is responsible for delivery of care within the scope of the duties of the AIN and under the supervision and delegation of a Nurse or Midwife. The AIN is responsible for the delivery of the delegated care in a safe and person-centred approach, in collaboration with patients, their families and nurses.

- Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in nursing work in acute care)
- OR evidence of successful completion of either: Stage 1-3 (50% completion) of a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) approved Bachelor of Nursing Program or Stage 1-4 (50% completion) of an NMBA approved dual Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) program and academic good standing; and current and ongoing course enrolment (including evidence of current successful completion of Basic Life Support, Manual/Safe Handling and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training (inclusive of COVID-19 IPC training).
- OR Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care. Applicable for employment at Multi Purpose Services only
