Software Development Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in web methods and payment gateway interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and a solid understanding of various operating systems, programming languages, and database management systems. This role requires a proactive individual who is willing to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Java Full Stack and J2EE.
• Implement and manage payment gateway interfaces, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Utilize DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and Bamboo for version control and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in DEV, UAT, PROD, and DR environments.
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving to resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Document processes and maintain project documentation using JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Engage in cloud development and database management, including RDBMS and Oracle 19C.
• Write and maintain shell scripts and develop applications using Spring Boot, XML, and web services protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, IPM, MQ, JMS).

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience in web methods and payment gateway interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Proficiency in Java Full Stack, J2EE, and Software AG web methods (good to have).
• Experience with Windows, UNIX, and LINUX operating systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud development and database management.
• Familiarity with shell scripting and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of web services protocols.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
